Selling a legendary Braun Nizo 801 Super 8 movie camera in absolute immaculate collector's condition. A true German design icon from the Dieter Rams era, manufactured by Niezoldi & Krämer at the famous "Werk München" (Munich, West Germany) around 1974/1975. Details & Condition: • Body: Immaculate cosmetic condition, extremely clean, and perfectly preserved with virtually no signs of use. • Lens: The premium Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon 1:1.8 / 7-80mm lens is crystal clear. No scratches, no dust, and absolutely no internal haze or fungus. • Mechanics: Fully tested and working! The motor runs smoothly and evenly across all filming speeds (18, 24, 54 fps). Important Note regarding Batteries: The camera is sold WITHOUT batteries. To operate it, you will need: 1. 6x standard AA batteries inside the handle grip (powers the motor and automatic zoom). 2. 2x small button cells (like WeinCell MRB625 or modern 625 zinc-air replacements) in the base compartment for the internal light meter. A pristine, museum-quality piece perfect for analog filmmakers, collectors, or design enthusiasts. Private sale: Sold as-is without warranty or returns.
